Madam Walker: entrepreneur, activist, self-made millionaire, and Indy's founding lady of collective impact? Come join Giving+Sum at the historic Walker Theatre for a conversation with Dr. Tyrone Freeman about how Madam Walker shaped philanthropy as we know it. Come learn about how Madam Walker set the stage for Indianapolis as a giving community, and how Giving Sum follows in those footsteps through our own collective giving model. We will also announce our semi-finalists and discuss site visits for the grant selection process.
All are welcome!
