Do you want to take a more active role in shaping our community? Giving Sum offers just that opportunity. You will receive a rewarding experience that goes well beyond monetary contributions and includes:

Membership to Giving Sum is a $500 annual contribution with 100% of all collected contributions going towards a year-end grant to a not-for-profit organization serving central Indiana. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, your $500 contribution to the Giving Sum grant pool is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

There are two easy ways to pay for your membership: online or through a membership form.

Paying Online

You have a various payment options online.  All reoccurring payment options (monthly, quarterly, and semi-annually) will be stopped after you have reached $500.

  1. A monthly payment of $50 per month for ten months
  2. A quarterly payment of $125 per quarter 
  3. A semi-annual payment of $250 
  4. An annual payment of $500

To set-up an online membership payment, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Create an account

  1. Create a Giving Sum Member Portal account by clicking here or navigating to Members | Member Portal
  2. Create a new member profile.  You will be asked for contact and background information.  This information will only be shared with other members of Giving Sum.
  3. Log-in using your username and password

Step 2: Paying for your membership online

  1. Log-in to the Giving Sum Member Portal 
  2. Go to Members | Membership Payment
  3. Select your membership payment plan (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual)
  4. You will be redirected to Giving Sum's PayPal checkout page after you select your membership payment plan
  5. You can review your membership payment plan by navigating to Members | Payment History when logged into Giving Sum's site

Paying Through a Membership Form

You may pay for your Giving Sum membership via check or credit card by completing and returning the following form:

Couples

Couples may join together ($500/couple). During the grant process you will only receive one vote for the two of you, but both may be active members in all other areas of Giving Sum. As per the spirit of Giving Sum, a couple is defined as two people in a romantic relationship.   

Matching Your Contribution

Your contribution to Giving Sum might qualify for a match from your employer. Below is the information generally needed on a corporate match form:
