Giving Sum is an organization of next generation givers working together to identify challenges in the community and to address them through education, engagement, inspiration and grants. Giving Sum is a charitable giving vehicle pooling resources raised through memberships, sponsorships, and fundraisers to establish annual grants for recipients selected by the organization and its members. New Organization Tries to Engage Next Generation

Vision:
Giving Sum members share a vision of our community in which everyone participates in a movement to create positive change.

Mission:
Giving Sum will inspire and engage the next generation, mobilizing their passions, talents and resources to support innovative, community initiatives.

Four key objectives:

• Engaging members in diverse volunteer opportunities throughout the year, providing valuable exposure to multiple nonprofit organizations and helping raise awareness for critical community needs.
• Providing significant financial resources and volunteer support to organizations running innovative programs in the community.
• Educating members through highly interactive opportunities with leaders that are making a difference in the community.
• Encouraging social and professional networking through fun and rewarding member functions.

Each year Giving Sum will grant 100 percent of its membership contributions to a nonprofit organization in Indianapolis working towards change. Members will be proactive in searching out these organizations in the greater Indianapolis area and having them apply. Each member will have a vote as to where the money will go. All membership contributions and donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Our fiscal agent is 501(c)3 certified.
